Mäpt ághká-jine (/ə˞xˈcə˞/ /ʤiˈne/ [central] [fat (bodily substance)]) is a subtropical Town located in Fèëcêkê County, Trïpghe Kingdom, within the United Kingdom of Undermountain.

The name Mäpt ághká-jine is derived from the Gnollish language, as Mäpt ághká-jine was founded by Brtëg̈ vyim Roxlendyutsɪxt, who was culturaly Gnollish.

Climate

Mäpt ághká-jine has a yearly average temperature of 12°C (53°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 22°C (71°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 2°C (35°F). Mäpt ághká-jine receives an average of 245 cm/y (96 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Mäpt ághká-jine covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2586 m (8484 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Mäpt ághká-jine was founded durring the late 15th century in spring of the year 1459, by Brtëg̈ vyim Roxlendyutsɪxt. The establishment of Mäpt ághká-jine was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Brtëg̈ vyim Roxlendyutsɪxt electing to pay people to resettle in Mäpt ághká-jine.

Mäpt ághká-jine was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mäpt ághká-jine is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.

Mäpt ághká-jine is buildings are speckled and packed arround crampt paverstone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town lacks any defencive features, though certainly constructing even a simple fence or digging a ditch is at the forefront of the 's mind. At least, one would hope so.

A quick look in any direction shows Mäpt ághká-jine is filled with vices. That alone wouldn’t be too noticeable, if it wasn’t just so omnipresent and overwhelmingly how the people of this town live. Or if the general public wasn’t so enthusiastically, openly, and merrily participating in these activities.

Mäpt ághká-jine's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is inspired by the natural world, characterized by sinuous, sculptural, organic shapes, arches, curving lines, and sensual ornamentation. Common motifs included stylized versions of leaves, flowers, vines, insects, animals, and other natural elements. Decorative elements found on the inside and outside of buildings include intricate mosaic work, curved windows, and decorative trim work. .

In Mäpt ághká-jine during thunderstorms, with each flash of lightning, everyone sees different monsters from the corner of their eyes.
